Well, here we are almost a month into the new year and things for us haven't slowed down one bit. We are as busy as ever. Jaxson and Mason got settled back into the school routine and Jon went back to work (unwillingly) so we are finally back into our normal routine. But, it seems like little things just keep popping up that keep me from feeling like things are calming down from the holidays. As you know my dad had shoulder surgery in November and then developed pneunomia, he went in for an 8 week post-op check the other day and found out that he re-tore his shoulder and would have to go back in on the 27th and have surgery...again. So, needless to say my parents are a bit nervous about having to do this all over again. That is probably the biggest thing that has come up over the past few weeks. But, if you ask Jon he would say that developing gout in his foot would be the worst thing that has EVER happened!!! He was in so much pain that he couldn't even walk and I had the small task of taking care of 4 kids and one GIANT baby for about a week and a half! It finally got bad enough that he stuck a needle in the bottom of his foot and drained a ton of puss and started on some antibiotics and can finally walk again. The pain for him is gone and I can't tell you how happy I am to not have to deal with that anymore. I love my husband, and sorry to say this but men are the worst when they get sick. I don't think I have ever heard so much whining, even from my kids! Anyway, things are good here, other than the few bumps we have been doing great. I posted a few pics just to show you how big the kids are getting and we hope all is well with you and hope to see you all soon!

Too funny. Give your GIANT baby a hug from us (and all the little ones too). I agree - it's the worst when daddy is sick or hurt. Good luck for your dad!
Oh my goodness!!! When did your kids grow up? I am expecting them to be the same as when I saw them last. Did you feed them Miracle Gro? I am sorry you had 5 children to take care of. It must be a brotherly thing because that happens here too. We hope all goes well with your dad. Sorry I haven't called in a while. I have been cramming in some French to pass this stupid class.
Wow, you guys never seem to get a break, huh? Sorry to hear about all the trouble, I hope your dad is okay and I hope your giant baby recovers.
